Royal Hospital for Women gynaecology outpatient clinic only accepting urgent referrals

30 March 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Royal Hospital for Women gynaecology outpatient clinic service has been affected. The hospital is now only able to accept urgent referrals to gynaecology outpatients and will be postponing non urgent follow up appointments where possible.  They will also be moving to Telehealth and phone consultations where possible.

"We appreciate that primary care services have also been significantly affected.  We wish to assure you that we will continue to liaise and support the GPs in our area to provide essential gynaecology services for our patients wherever possible. We ask that in order to expedite and facilitate the clinic triage, please provide full clinical details, blood and radiology results in the original referral. Many thanks for your understanding and we thank you all again for your work and dedication at this difficult time."
