Free program for parents of 2-6 year olds on healthy lifestyles

In NSW, 1 in 5 children are overweight and obese. Poor diet, inadequate physical activity, excessive screen time and poor sleep habits are the key behavioural risk factors for unhealthy weight gain in early childhood. Parents have a critical role to play in childhood obesity prevention as they are key role models and decision makers regarding their child’s food intake, physical activity levels, screen time expenditure and sleep patterns.

Time for Healthy Habits is a FREE program which runs for 12 weeks and can be undertaken from the comfort of the family’s home via online modules, telephone support calls or receiving printed materials in the mail. Participants may choose their preferred method of delivery and must fit the required eligibility criteria.
