The NDIA has funded MHCC to undertake three new NDIS projects over the next two years

The Community Engagement Education Package will see MHCC working with people with lived experience to co-design a community engagement package to support people living with a mental health condition and/or at risk of developing psychosocial disability.

Stage 2 of will employ Peer Leaders across States and Territories to coordinate peer networks to co-design resources directed at supporting people with psychosocial disability, focusing on supporting people with a disability from marginalised groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people in rural and remote areas and people from the LGBTIQA+ community.

A training package will also be delivered to current and future NDIA and Local Area Coordinator (LAC) Partners in the Community staff.
