Practice Manager required for Campsie Medical Practice

To fully supports the delivery of quality clinical care by the practitioners, allied health, specialists, nurses and administrative staff. The Practice Manager is accountable for provision of expert management services to the practice. These services are predominantly those of financial management and staff management.

Specifically the Practice Manager will be accountable to the Principals of the practice for:

  • Human Resources- the organisational review and personnel management function for a team of staff carrying out a range of clerical, technical and professional activities, the performance of staff other than practitioners, training staff, rostering
  • Financial Management- provision of accurate and timely financial data, payroll
  • Development of organisation systems to maximise productivity in the workplace
  • Development of business plans to meet the objectives of the practice and its principals
  • Operations- Maintaining Accreditation Standards, Policies & Procedures, assets of the practice including IT and software and stock/ordering
  • Continuous review of the operating environment of the practice to improve efficiencies, resources and to lead quality improvements.

    Essential:
    Experience in a leadership role
    Medical/ Health Related experience
    Ability to work independently, problem solve and to make executive decisions.

    Desirable:
    Experience with Best Practice, POLAR, Pencat, Xero, Hicaps, Microsoft
    Experience with Accreditation RACGP 5th Standards
    Understanding of Medicare billing/ Practice Incentives ie QI-Pip and my health record
    Medical/ Health Related experience
