Cardiovascular disease is a collective term for heart, stroke and blood vessel diseases, which includes:

  • Coronary heart disease (CHD)
  • Non-haemorrhagic stroke
  • Peripheral arterial disease

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) includes a current or past history of at least one of the following entities:

  • Myocardial infarction
  • Unstable angina pectoris
  • Angina
  • Revascularization procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
