Could your practice benefit from extra support in screening your patients for cancer?

– Building Primary Care capacity to increase screening participation within local communities.

Did you know that we are running two projects within central and eastern Sydney which may assist you in screening your patients for cancer?

Through these projects, we will provide your practice with support, relevant to your needs which may include:

  • Exploring your perceptions of practice related access barriers and enablers to participation in cervical, breast and bowel cancer screening
  • Improving the capacity of your practice systems to identify people from the target groups and their cancer screening status and to routinely implement screening recall and reminder systems
  • Providing opportunities for feedback for further practice support provided by CESPHN
  • Support for providing culturally responsive cancer screening services
  • Informing future health promotion and prevention initiatives in increasing screening participation across NSW.

Increasing access and participation in cervical screening for Nepalese and Bangladeshi women in South Eastern Sydney project
