Royal Hospital for Women – revised antenatal schedule of visits (COVID-19)

20 April 2020

The Royal Hospital for Women has revised the antenatal schedule of visits and other processes to adapt to COVID-19. Please review the following documents as guidance for antenatal care during this time:

  • Click here for the revised antenatal schedule of visits
  • Click here for revised gestational diabetes screening and diagnosis guidelines
  • Click here for inpatient management of pregnant women with SARS-CoV-2 infection

A powerpoint presentation detailing changes to the antenatal schedule, update on other services at the RHW and postnatal services is available here. A recording of this presentation by Dr Louise Fay, Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at RHW, will be available soon.

The RHW and CESPHN would like to assess the capacity of affiliated antenatal shared care GPs to conduct face-to-face visits and to accept additional antenatal patients for face-to-face visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please click here to complete a short survey that will take 1-2 minutes to complete.

For up-to-date information and resources, please continue to visit the CESPHN Maternal Health website.
