EOI – CESPHN is seeking GP and Practice Nurse Representatives for immunisation working group

The Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) Immunisation Program aims to reduce the incidence of vaccine preventable diseases in the community by providing appropriate and timely information aboutvaccine preventable diseases and promote the delivery of the National Immunisation Program toimmunisation providers, and the community.

Immunisation providers are central to the successful implementation of the CESPHN ImmunisationProgram Plan. The CESPHN works collaboratively with immunisation providers and stakeholders including the Local Public Health Units, Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and National Centre forImmunisation Research Surveillance (NCIRS) to jointly develop and implement immunisation strategies in the area.

The CESPHN is seeking interest from members (general practitioners and practice nurses) who wouldlike to be involved in immunisation planning, review of strategies and attend two face to face meetings per year with their local Public Health Unit (SLHD at Camperdown or SESLHD at Randwick). These representatives will be paid for their attendance as per the rate in the CESPHN Representation Policy.

We are currently seeking the following: 

  • General practitioner representative located at a practice in the South Eastern Sydney LHDregion.
  • Practice nurse representative located at a practice in the South Eastern Sydney LHD region.
  • General practitioner representative located at a practice in the Sydney LHD region.
  • Practice nurse representative located at a practice in the Sydney LHD region.
