ANSC January Update: RPA Women and Babies/Canterbury Hospital

Introduction of PowerChart Maternity – maternity e-medical record

SLHD has recently implemented the first whole of life maternity e-medical record

For GPs involved in a woman’s obstetric care, any hospital admissions including EPAS, Day Assessment Unitantenatal and postnatal discharges will be electronically sent via HealtheNet provided the general practice has a valid Healthenet connection.

The antenatal “yellow cards” will remain in use as an important communication tool between GPs and SLHD maternity units.

The  CESPHN website  and  HealthPathways Sydney  provide a comprehensive collection of resources to assist GPs participating in the GP ANSC Program with RPA Woman and Babies and Canterbury Hospital to ensure they are providing a high standard of care
