Quality Improvement PIP – Sharing data with CESPHN

9 September 2019

Has your general practice recently signed up for the new Quality Improvement PIP Incentive?

If the answer is yes, please get in contact with us by email at pipqi@cesphn.com.au or by calling us on 1300 986 991 and  press 2.

It’s important to give us your details so we can:

  • support your general practices to undertake continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities and feedback on how your practice is tracking and;
  • to collect on a quarterly basis the PIP Eligible Data Set against the specified 10 Improvement Measures.

To assist your practice in meeting the requirement of maintaining evidence that CQI activities have been undertaken, we have developed a new suite of templates and tools for your practice to use and get started with.

Our dedicated Quality Improvement Officers Sara and Thuy Ann are here to help so please get in touch with them.

Sara Matin, E: s.matin@cesphn.com.au, M: 0448 377 230

Thuy Ann Vuong, E: t.vuong@cesphn.com.au, M: 0439 137 818

CESPHN is also committed to supporting general practices to submit data to the PHN. We can help your general practice:

  • choose the right data extraction tool and navigate options for submitting data
  • explain the governance framework for PIP QI
  • provide training on extracting data for the 10 Improvement Measures; and
  • understand the meaning of your data and how we can use this information to optimise efficiency and financial benefits for your practice.

Our Digital Health team are on hand to help you. They can be contacted via email at digitalhealth@cesphn.com.au or call 1300 986 991 and  press .
