Funding opportunity - Supporting Arabic Health in Canterbury project

Can Get Health in Canterbury is a joint project of Sydney Local Health District, University of NSW and Central and Eastern Sydney PHN.

Can Get Health in Canterbury project is making funding available to enable delivery of a joint project with the Arabic speaking community in Canterbury.

We are seeking expressions of interest from community organisations who can plan and deliver a program or events that address a health need within the Arabic speaking community, with a focus on cancer prevention and screening.

The funds are required to be used by the end of 2019.

The Supporting Arabic Health in Canterbury project will provide;

$10,000 to engage women or girls, and,
$10,000 to engage men or boys.

Eligibility:

Funds must be spent:

  • By Arabic speaking community organisations,
  • In the Canterbury suburbs of Lakemba, Wiley Park, Belmore, Campsie or Punchbowl,
  • For activities that benefit the Arabic speaking community in the Canterbury area.
