Multicultural Primary Care Cancer Forum

The Cancer Institute NSW and CESPHN is delighted to invite you to the inaugural Multicultural Primary Care Cancer Forum on Wednesday 26 June 2019 at the Novotel Hotel in Homebush. The forum is aimed to increase capacity of the primary care sector to improve cancer outcomes for patients of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds.

The event will be held 6-9pm, and will include three sessions -

  • Innovation in cancer screening –
    • A case-based approach to self-collected vaginal samples for an HPV test
    • Maximising the impact of bowel cancer screening
  • Accessioning information and support for your patients with cancer
  • Talking Tobacco - Is shisha harmless; should people with cancer quit; which pharmacotherapies to use?

Registration and dinner is at 6.00 pm, with the event commencing approximately at 6.45 pm. Plenty of parking is available.
