CPD and end of triennium coming!

11 March 2019

As this is the last year of the current QI&CPD triennium, GPs are reminded to ensure they meet their QI&CPD requirements. If you are unsure of the status of your points so far, please contact the RACGP on 1800 472 247 and their staff will be able to help you with this.

Requirements for this triennium are:

A minimum of 130 QI&CPD points is required for the triennium, which must include:

  • two Category 1 activities, one of which must be a quality improvement (QI) activity
  • a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course.

The 2017–19 triennium concludes 31 December 2019.

Looking for more points or more great education?

So far this year, there has been great topics for GPs such as:

Neurology; GP Leadership training; Men’s Health; Antenatal Care; Common liver diseases; Spinal Masquerades and more…

Keep an eye out for more ‘top’ topics such as: Cardiology, Dementia and Older Persons Abuse; The Diabetic Foot in General Practice; Antenatal Care Obstetrics; Immunisation; CPR and keep up to date with all the My Health Record news and much more!

Category 1 (40 pts) activity – Small Group Learning – don’t miss out!!

We are once again delivering a Small Group Learning Program with groups being held in all regions.

Join your colleagues for a different way of learning. Small Group Learning only has up to 12 GPs participate in a group, is interactive, reflective and a good networking opportunity.

These groups are currently being filled and there are still some vacancies, so don’t miss out. We have groups in the south, east and inner west regions.

If you would like to know more about our Small Group Learning Program or would like to join one of our groups, please contact Susan McCann at s.mccann@cesphn.com.au
