Speech pathology Talking & Listening Check-Ups for Aboriginal children

11 March 2019

CESPHN and Sydney Children’s Hospital are offering free communication screening assessments, called Talking & Listening Check-Ups, to Aboriginal children aged 2-5 years living within the northern sector of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.

Speech Pathologists from Sydney Children’s Hospital deliver Talking & Listening Check-Ups as part of an Integrated Care Initiative with the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network. The goal of this project is to provide early intervention speech pathology services including screening, assessment, and intervention to Aboriginal children aged between 2 and 5 years of age.

We are seeking your assistance to inform families who visit your medical practice about this free, confidential and voluntary service.
