What is the Green Book?

Person Centred Care is about having a planned approach to managing your patients with chronic and complex health conditions. The RACGP Green Book is a valuable resource for anyone wanting to offer “evidence based” preventative care to their patients. Preventative care often starts with your data and using a data extraction tool to look for opportunities within your practice improving patient care and/or identifying underutilised revenue streams.

Although we are still waiting for details on the new QI PIP, we do know that your practice will need to be taking part in a Quality Improvement Activity (QIA) and the RACGP Green Book is an invaluable resource that will help you on your QI journey.

The Green Book provides information, anecdotes and insight in a clear, easy to read format. It starts with the basics, building your team, using your data, starting small and communicating your wins.
