Councils and Committees - Expression of Interest

We are seeking expressions of interest from general practitioners to represent Central and Eastern Sydney PHN on Local Health District and Network Clinical Councils and Committees.

Representation Policy

Central and Eastern Sydney PHN remunerates committee members on submission of an invoice and brief report highlighting key issues. The Board review key issues raised by committee members at their meetings. The representation policy can be found here.

Membership attributes

Key attributes for members of various Committees include: 

  • strong networks including membership of one of the five CESPHN GP member networks
  • ability to actively contribute and challenge thinking within a group environment
  • strategic thinker and ability to take a whole-of-system view
  • ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders
  • ability to assess complex issues and recommend appropriate strategies.


Meetings are held either monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly for up to two hours on weekdays between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm in various locations across the CESPHN region.
