Seeking GP and practice nurse representatives for “Good Health: The New Thinking – Practical Innovations in Primary Health Care” Symposium Working Group

Have you been practising in the CESPHN region for more than five years and have an active interest in applying the latest medical research innovations to day-to-day general practice? CESPHN and Sydney Local Health District are seeking two local general practitioners and one practice nurse to join our working group to provide input into the upcoming Good Health: The New Thinking – Practical Innovations in Primary Health Care Symposium on Saturday 24 June 2017.

The event aims to showcase the latest innovations and advances in medicine and how they can be applied to everyday general practice and make a true difference to patient care in key emerging issues. Working group representatives will provide valuable advice and input into the development of this prestigious event and will work collaboratively with members of the committee to ensure a successful result. The working group will meet intermittently (face to face or teleconference participation) and will be required to provide input into the program agenda, recommended speakers, and required RACGP documentation for accreditation (e.g. learning outcomes). Members will be remunerated for their time, which should not exceed 4-5 hours in total between now and the completion of the event.

GPs and practice nurses are invited to submit an expression of interest – please include a brief statement indicating why you would like to be part of this working group (250 words maximum). For more information or to apply, please contact CESPHN CPD Program Officer Tammy Shapiro on 8752 4957.
