Become an ANSC GP

To be eligible to be a member of the Antenatal Shared Care Program at the Royal Hospital for Women (RHW), the GP must fulfil the following requirements:

1. Complete and submit:

  • pdf RHW Application (105 KB)
  • National Criminal Record Check
  • 100 point identification check, usually a certified copy of Drivers Licence and passport (if not an Australian citizen, must include copy of visa as well as 100 points identification).
  • Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of AHPRA registration
  • Evidence of current medical defence association membership
  • Evidence of RACGP Fellowship or Vocational Registration
  • Evidence of completion of College CPD requirements for renewal or cross affiliation (12 ANSC CPD Points during each triennium. This does not apply to new applicants.)

2. Attend an intake meeting (normally scheduled twice a year in May and November prior to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Updates).

3. Attend a Clinical Placement within 12 months of joining the antenatal shared care program.

4. Complete NSW Genetic Education on-line First Trimester Screening module.
