MHCC: Reimagine stage 2 launch

Reimagine is a free online resource that supports people living with mental health conditions in accessing the NDIS. Originally launched in 2017, it was developed by Mental Health Coordinating Counciel (MHCC) in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and co-designed with people with lived experience of mental health conditions.

With funding through the NDIA’s Information, Linkages and Capacity building (ILC) Grants (Round 2), we have now worked to share and improve www.reimagine.today, and information available about the NDIS, with communities across Australia. These networks include people with lived experience of mental health conditions (and their carers and support networks), and a focus on a number of priority communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ people and people living in rural and remote areas.

This LAUNCH will showcase some of the great work of our Peer Leaders and co-design groups, including:

  • A new look website, updated in line with community needs
  • NEW resources co-designed with people from diverse communities
  • A reimagine.today App – a spot for people to store information about themselves and keep track of their NDIS access journey, and appointments, etc.
  • Skill building resources for people living with mental health conditions
  • A Self-care Hub
