  • Sex Worker Outreach Project (SWOP) - SWOP offers free and confidential services for all people who engage in sex work in NSW
  • NUAA - NSW Users and Aids Association - peak drug user organisation in NSW. NUAA provides education, practical support, information and advocacy to users of illicit drugs, their friends and allies.

HIV
  • POZHET - organisation supporting heterosexual people living with HIV in NSW
  • Positive Life - non-profit community organisation supporting people who live with HIV
  • The Albion Centre - healthcare facility specialising in HIV treatment, care and support for people living with HIV, viral hepatitis and STIs. Care is given by a multidisciplinary team that includes specialist doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, dieticians, social workers, researchers and health promotion officers
  • MHAHS - Multicultural HIV and Hepatitis Service - NSW Health organisation working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in NSW to improve health and wellbeing in relation to HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C

Contact tracing SMS/email services

Contact tracing is essential in reducing the transmission of STIs and HIV. The diagnosing clinician has the responsibility to facilitate the process of notifying current and past partners.
