  • Family Drug Support Australia – Supporting families affected by alcohol and other drugs
  • Hello Sunday Morning (the Daybreak Program) The Department of Health is funding Hello Sunday Morning (the Daybreak Program), supporting Australians reduce their harmful alcohol consumption. The Daybreak Program is a free treatment and early intervention mobile-app designed to provide around-the-clock support to individuals who are seeking support for their at-risk drinking and reduce their harmful alcohol consumption. The Program provides access to provide chats with professional Daybreak health coaches, an anonymous and supportive community and a comprehensive library of behavioural experiments, built by clinicians and designed to help people develop the skills they need to change their relationship with alcohol.
  •   pdf GLAD (49 KB) is a new collaboration with public Alcohol and other Drug (AoD) services in all three Local Health Districts within CESPHN: South East Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD); Sydney Local Health District (SLHD); and St Vincent’s Health Network (SVNH).

    Some drug and alcohol issues can be chronic and complex, and GPs may need specialist advice, support and referral options to assist patients with these issues. Our multidisciplinary team, made up of doctors and nurses very experienced in the management of alcohol and other drug problems, understands the challenges of managing people with complex multimorbidity.  We’re committed to assisting you help your patients to improve their health and wellbeing. We offer;

    • Referral consultation clinic 
    • Education. We run CPD events with CESPHN (please see usual CESPHN educational updates for details). We are happy to visit you at your surgery and run training and/or information sessions for you and your colleagues.
