Full time and permanent

  • Deliver superior evidence based clinical care to achieve better health outcomes for young people seeking to access primary care, mental healthcare, alcohol and drug services and social, educational and vocational services
  • Implement the headspace clinical governance framework providing an integrated model of community based health service delivery
  • Proactively monitor high risk clients, and assure that a quality service is being offered in line with evidenced based principles
  • Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of strategies and processes to improve system integration and co-ordination between relevant services
  • Oversee and manage the multi-disciplinary team processes and the systems to integrate service delivery, including case review, planning, coordination and optimising electronic client management systems
Preferred experience, skills and qualifications
  • Must have general AHPRA registration as a Psychologist / Mental Health Nurse / Occupational Therapist or a Social Worker with AASW accredited mental health registration
  • Possess well-developed clinical knowledge and skills in mental health care and in the management of contemporary mental health service delivery.
  • Experience in direct service provision to young people and/or providing mental health services or programs, including being able to respond effectively to crisis and high risk situations, when required.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ideally 2-3 years experience managing all aspects of a team inc. supervision, performance development and team building.
