Sydney Health Community Network
About Us
Sydney Health Community Network (SHCN) is one of the seven organisational members of the Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN). SHCN plays an important role in advocating to the CESPHN Board on behalf of the diverse communities in the region, whilst ensuring the focus of the PHN remains relevant to SHCN and its members. The ordinary members of SHCN elect directors to the Board. SHCN does not receive external funding from the Australian Government.
SHCN Membership Categories
Ordinary Organisation
Membership is open to Health Community Organisations within the CESPHN region who represent the interests of actual or potential recipients of health care activities and their carers.
Associate Organisation
Membership is open to Health Community Organisation which represent the interests of actual or potential recipients of health care activities and their carers but are not based within the region.
Associate Individual
Membership is open to any individual with an interest in health care for people who reside or work in the PHN region.
